I came, I ate, I crabbed. My friend moved to Bel Air, away from the cheap good crabberies of Baltimore, so I had to find something on the way home to get my fix in. Gibby's hit the spot. They have a large selection of fresh crabs and are willing to cook for you to eat right away if you don't want to (or can't) travel home with a couple dozen soft-shells in the back seat. I mean, look at their giant menu! Look at their salads! So many salads. The shrimp salad is pretty much just shrimp and mayo, no fillers, no frills. Hope you like shrimp. The crab soup was crabbier than most restaurant soups that charge you more for less. I was going to get a crab cake sandwich until they pointed out that it was soft-shell season, so I ended up with a soft-shell sandwich. (They also pointed out that soft-shell crabs are not, in fact, 100% whole, so I wasn't eating all the naughty parts of the animal.

Great fresh seafood at this place! Crabs are always fat, heavy, delicious and steamed to order! The service is phenomenal, and the specials are like no other! If you're around this area definitely stop in and see Craig and the team at Gibby's Seafood East!

I had a blackened orange roughly sandwich and it was awesome! Fast friendly service too! I also joined their TEXT club for a chance to win a dozen steamed crabs. It turns out when they have specials, I will now received them right away via text! It was easy to join and it only took a minute!
